If it's the first time I've heard it from them and it's not a very serious context, then I would let it slide, even if it hurts me a little to hear them say it. I might let it go a few times after that if it's, as before, not very serious. To be honest, I try to avoid conflict as much as possible. I will, however, think far less of that person than I did before they opened their mouth.
I mean, unless it's... a joke? There's a fine line to it, but this isn't COMPLETELY SERIOUS BUSINESS either. I can laugh about it too.

Eventually though, or if they're directly attacking someone or being especially offensive, I will confront them. It's one thing to display ignorance about it more or less privately; it's entirely not okay to go attacking someone simply because they have a different ethnicity or sexuality.
Not that I would make a big scene out of it, if I can. I would just try to discuss with them what it is that's making them voice these opinions or at least play devil's advocate. I'd try to not go berserk on them - obviously would be reallyreally difficult if they're directly attacking someone, but I'd still try.

This is kind of tricky, because a majority of my family is rather... traditional? old-school? I've been taught not to fight and disrespect my family members, but I get really tired of hearing it sometimes. Especially when it begins to affect the opinions of younger family members, because I don't really think that viewpoint should be continued.

I find it kind of amusing that the Writer's Block topic is related to what I'm going to post on here.

The ideal human being would have an X in all categories because that would mean that they are perfectly balanced in everything, naturally. Except for that one X, I was completely set in one direction. So there you have it. I wish I knew how to attach a document on here, but I don't. -__-;

My professor posted a detailed description for each variation of the types, so yeah... if you want to tell me what your 'personality type' is, then I can give you yours :D

So first of all, I'm not dead. Sometimes I wonder, but I'm not. For better or worse.

I currently have two jobs for the summer, and it looks to be another 6 day/8 hrs a day work week. But I need the money, so alright.
